Art is the medium I use to access my happiness. I make what my mind sees. 

Life has been tough for me, and at one point I almost lost the ability to hold a pen/paintbrush because I was so physically and spiritually broken.   It has taken me a long time to heal, but despite everything, I still have hope for a bright future. I write songs and stories, plus I paint, draw, and strive to be the very best I can be.

I opened a shop in Redbubble under the name Ocikisiwin, which means having scars.

Now that I’m almost whole I feel safer expressing who I am as an individual, hence my shop and works of art. I will continue to fight for my future, which I want to be as bright as my creations.
