They are the closest living relative of the Tyrannosaurus-rex and they outnumber humans more than 6 to 1, yet the 43 billion chickens who live on this planet are rarely seen.  Described as inquisitive, intelligent, affectionate, and fun loving, chickens have cognitive abilities that rival cats and dogs, yet so few ever get the chance to have normal lives or ever know human kindness. If you do only one thing today for chickens please watch and share this short clip and consider this – shouldn’t it be normal and natural for humans to be kind.  (Please note there are no graphic images in this video)
